'The Making of a Great Moment'

The Millibo Art Theatre is thrilled to announce the regional premiere of “The Making of a Great Moment,” a new play by acclaimed playwright Peter Sinn Nachtrieb.

Directed by Jim Jackson and starring Anna Faye Hunter and Michael Lee, this production promises to be a hilarious and thought-provoking exploration of the lengths actors will go to for their love of live theatre.

“The Making of a Great Moment” follows the journey of two actors, Mona and Terry, as they embark on a cross-country tour of their play “Great Moments in Human Achievement.”

In a twist of fate, or perhaps a nod to environmental consciousness, Mona and Terry travel from performance to performance on bicycles, pulling their entire show in trailers behind them.

Audiences can expect a delightful mix of humor and introspection as they witness the duo’s on-the-road adventures and their spirited reenactments of obscure moments in human history.

With a comedic style reminiscent of “Cunk on Earth” and “Monty Python,” Nachtrieb’s play challenges artists’ dedication and explores the timeless question of why they continue to pursue their craft.
