‘The Stories We Tell’ is a collaborative exhibit featuring Mary-Linn Benning, Barbara Blake, Dianna Cates Dunn, Julia McMinn Evans and Margarete Seagraves.

Hopper tells his own story via paintings, as do we. Our diverse collective of five artists meets periodically to share information on techniques and processes, but we have come to value our different working styles and the stories we each tell.

We are at different stages in our careers, with very different objectives. Nevertheless, the making of art is an imperative part of each of us.
