A New Holiday Play by Chris Sorensen, loosely based on L. Frank Baum’s Oz stories.
It is December in Cripple Creek, 1896. Before the holiday break, Dorothy Gunnison, a young schoolteacher, invites famed genius Nikola Telsa to speak to her class. But while demonstrating one of his inventions (the N.T.M.), Telsa accidentally sends Dorothy through a time twister to the Land of Oz. There, with the assistance of a certain scarecrow, tin man, and lion, she must find a way to return to Cripple Creek before Christmas is cancelled. Followed by TATC’s famous Christmas Olio.
