"The Wizard of Oz" Musical

“The Wizard of Oz”, presented by The Sunrise Players, will soon be playing at Sunrise Church, 2655 Briargate Blvd. The 53-member cast ranges in age from eight to sixty-eight and has been rehearsing for nearly two months to present this beloved family show. Cast members come from the far reaches of Colorado Springs and nearby communities. Many have been seen before in past musicals at Sunrise, but some are enjoying the experience of the stage for the first time.
“The Wizard of Oz” is being directed by the same team that previously brought to life “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “White Christmas”, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Godspell”, “The Sound of Music”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, and many more.
