Theater School: Emerging Artists

Creating Characters: June 13–24 (2-week session) 12:45–4 p.m.

The fundamentals of acting will be explored in this fun and collaborative class. Learn how to develop characters, tell a story, and work with others through theatre games and scripted text. Emerging artists will love this natural extension of their previous theatrical endeavors. This session will culminate with a showcase during the final class.

Musical Theatre Madness: June 13–24 (2-week session) 9 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

Who doesn’t love a musical filled with exuberant dancing, rich singing, and focused acting? Join us for our musical theatre intensive for emerging artists designed to take triple threats to the next level. This session will culminate with a staged performance in the afternoon after the final class session.

Best of Both Worlds: June 13–24 (2-week session) 9 a.m.–4 p.m

For students who don’t want to choose! Get the most during these two weeks with both Creating Characters and Musical Theatre Madness! No day will be the same as we take a deep dive into different theatrical themes. Acting, dancing, design, playwriting, and collaboration are just the tip of the iceberg for this high-energy and interactive class. This class will culminate with a staged performance at the end of the final class session.

These camps are for ages 8-10.
