'Transect'

Marc Shereck’s show, “Transect,” refers to the path we follow in life. On both sides of the path are possibilities. We choose from both sides  as they merge and become our life.

Shereck’s art is heavily influenced by scenes and stories of the Southwest. His media ranges from pastel to ink to paint. The artist alludes to Native American  symbols of the within his work. He refers to “duende” the duality of good and evil, angel and devil. The landscape and sunsets influence his chosen colors.

Marc lives in Colorado Springs. He has traveled extensively throughout New Mexico.
