'Wintertides'

Colorado Ballet Society (CBS), the premier source of quality dance performance in southern Colorado for aspiring dancers ages two and older, announces its first 25th season performance, Wintertides, on November 19.

Wintertides is a joyful celebration from the Connexus Dance Collective (CDC) and the Colorado Youth Ballet (CYB) at the ENT Center. It will bring back Liminal Spaces, choreographed by Laci Landry, Nichole Bennis and Ana Noelle and is an energetic and electric piece that explores the “in between.”

Also part of Wintertides is Pathways, an abstract depiction of the different directions life can lead, intersecting in some places and diverging in others.

There will be two performances on November 19, at 2pm and 6pm. Tickets for Wintertides can be purchased now on the Colorado Ballet Society website.

Additionally, Wintertides will bring in the premiere of Stella Natalis, choreographed by CBS Artistic Director Kate Walsh Honea. The ballet interprets the Christmas message of peace, compassion and new life in a fun and festive ballet highlighting the talented students of the Colorado Youth Ballet.
