World of Windcraft Video Game Concert

The Woodland Park Wind Symphony presents its “World of Windcraft,” Version 3 concert. This video-game-themed concert features live music from popular video games and video enhancement as each selection is performed.

Concert-goers are encouraged to wear costumes from their favorite video game. Young video game enthusiasts under the age of 14 are eligible to participate in the costume contest and parade.

This high energy concert is great fun and introduces the audience to the live sounds of clarinets, bass clarinets, flutes, alto, tenor and baritone saxes, oboe, bassoon, trumpets, tubas, trombones, euphoniums, French horns, string bass, gong, chimes, vibraphone, bells, tympani, bass and snare drum as these instruments bring to life the scenes from video games. The large video screen above and behind the performers creates a unique visual and sound experience for the audience.

There are 2 performances: 4:00 and 6:30 pm. Doors open 1 hour prior to each performance for COS play, costume contest check-in/registration and judging.
