Yoga Hike

Meets at Main Parking Lot above restrooms near the Central Gardens at 8:15 a.m.

On this Hike for Life Yoga Hike, you’ll explore the most scenic trails in Central Garden of the Gods. During your walk there’ll be several segments of mindful and calm Nature Yoga including stretches, breath work, a balance sequence or a standing Vinyasa flow. Never done Nature Yoga before? No worries, all abilities are welcome! We’ll hike with attentiveness (ready to take in the beauty that surrounds you with all your senses) and feel completely immersed as we deliberately soak up nature’s aromas, sights and sounds. Your body and mind will feel refreshed and you’ll get a unique nature experience in one of the nation’s most beautiful parks!

The hike is planned to last 2 hours and is approximately 2 miles long with minimal elevation gain. The hike will start and end near the main parking lot, nearest to Kissing Camels. We will hike for roughly 20 minutes then unroll our mats for a 45 minute yoga session before continuing through the park, and back to our beginning location. All yoga and hiking abilities welcome as we enjoy the beautiful and unique setting to move, breathe, and enjoy nature together.
