We are searching for talented singers to form a dedicated and close-knit team committed to presenting highly expressive and engaging performances of a wide variety of choral music, from Renaissance all the way up to jazz with the same degree of authenticity.

We do not have any upcoming audition dates. If you wish to be notified when the next round opens, please submit the form below!

FORM

APPLY
Please fill out the application, attaching copies of your music, and then tell us your preferred audition date. We will get back to you as soon as possible with an audition time.

PREPARE
Prepare 2 songs, 1 minute each: 1 classical (any language) and 1 in a contrasting style (ex., Great American Songbook, Gospel, Broadway).

Please select the 1 minute that best represents your vocal abilities. Memorization is encouraged, but not expected; an accompanist will be provided.

Show up 10 minutes before your assigned audition time and be prepared to stay later and sing with someone else if asked.  You may also be invited to a Call-Back audition  (Note:  being released or being called back does NOT reflect on the conductor’s final decision.) Results will be sent out will be sent out as soon as possible after the audition.

PERFORM
In addition to 2 prepared songs, singers will be asked to do some sight reading, and perform some vocal exercises to determine range, pitch recall and rhythmic ability.

PRIORITIZE
While preparing, prepare to show your best tone, pitch, range, rhythm, sightreading, flexibility, and ability to blend with other voices.

COMMIT
We are always seeking singers willing to commit themselves to the highest standards of excellence and who are committed to making ChoralSong a success.  Personal practice and preparation outside rehearsals is essential!
