Costuming and Cosplay in the Springs

This is a group for all types of Costuming and Cosplay in the Colorado Springs area.

There are multiple conventions and other reasons year round to wear a costume. This meetup group will focus on creating costumes – costume ideas, thrift store outings, creating costumes, crafting gadgets, props, hair/makeup. and maybe even special effects and sharing skills and information.

We will also focus on places to wear the costumes like conventions and other events that encourage cosplay. So whether you are an Anime, Sci Fi & Fantasy, or Steampunk fan, or just love costuming from theater and/or movies, you might find something here.

Whether you learn something new, share your interests, find out about cosplay events or meet some folks who share your interests, this is a group to join. After all costumes aren’t just for kids and they aren’t just for Halloween anymore.
