TED Circles is a pilot initiative from TED to engage smaller audiences around “ideas worth spreading.”
This event has been canceled due to inclement weather.
Through November, 150 volunteer pilot hosts from 40 countries are facilitating TED Circles in a variety of locations, with a variety of durations and formats. The official launch of the program is planned for January, 2020.
We’ll open this interactive event with a 30-minute yoga and meditation session led by Certified Yoga Teacher, Adam Williams of Humanitou.
(Your optional donation will support Root Center for Yoga & Sacred Studies for providing space for our TED Circle.)
Then, we’ll take a 15-minute break to switch gears and enjoy food/snacks (BYO please) and get the projector ready.
Around 12:15 p.m. we’ll watch a TED Talk together, focused on the October TED Circles theme, “How to be a better human,” followed by discussion facilitated by Becca Williams of Thought Distillery.
Come for one or both parts.
We can’t wait to meet you!
Please pre-register in advance on the website. If you have never attended classes at Root before, you will also need to complete a waiver once you arrive.
Donations will be accepted but aren’t required.
