Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project

Presented by Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region and Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance and Fountain Creek Watershed District and Concrete Couch and City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services at Northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 24 and 21st Street

Celebrate Arts Month and our public lands!

Join the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance, Concrete Couch, Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation, The Greenway Fund, and Fountain Creek Watershed District for the Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project.

The goal of this project is to inspire artistic creativity, passion for the outdoors, and environmental stewardship by creating a public art piece that focuses on the efforts to keep our public lands clean.

The community is invited to participate in several clean-ups throughout our local trails as well as during Creek Week. Participants will gather litter and then fill giant metal letters that spell the word “INSPIRE.” The letters, constructed by Concrete Couch, will be on display at the Northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 24 and 21st Street.

Please contact Becky at becky@ppora.org for more information about the clean-ups around the region.

On October 3 at noon, join the dedication of the Pikes Peak Litter Letter Project! The schedule includes:

Arrive to the dedication at 11:30 a.m. and have the opportunity to help finish the last letter!
