'Whiz Kids'

YDA Master Class kicks off on June 7 downtown at Pikes Peak State College with a screening of Director Tom Shepard’s award-winning film “Whiz Kids.”

Who gets to be a scientist in America? WHIZ KIDS is a coming-of-age story that follows three very diverse high school seniors as they prepare for the nation’s holy grail of science competitions. Forging their path as the next generation of scientists, these teens learn as much about themselves as they do about science.
