Chuck was born in Poland and at a very young age realized a strong desire to draw and paint. My
earliest inspiration was from the Polish painter Matejko. From there my training led me to paint
and draw in the traditional style of the old masters, my biggest influences being Nicolai Fechin,
John Singer Sargent, and Joaquin Sorolla.

My higher education is from the American Academy of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago, in
addition to workshops with Richard Schmidt, Michael Lynch, and Bill Reese. I have been published in
Southwest Art Magazine and Western Art Collection, and well as had painting exhibited in The Club
at Coors National Western Stock Show,, Salon International, in Standing on the Shoulders of Cowboys
for the Cottonwood Center for the Arts, at MCI, Pueblo Bank & Trust, and the renown Broadmoor
Hotel.

Great art inspires me. My art represents the richness of color and the juiciness of the brushwork
that affects me when I see a great painting. My sense of time and all distractions disappear. So,
it is through my paintings that I try to capture the beauty I see in the world, in the landscapes,
cityscapes, flowers and the people, and pass that vision on to others.
