'Connecting to Your Inner Wisdom' Collage Workshop

Presented by Finding Our Voices at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, Colorado Springs CO

Jan 11 2020
‘Connecting to Your Inner Wisdom’ Collage Workshop presented by Finding Our Voices at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, Colorado Springs CO

Join us for our January Art Workshop for sSurvivors of sexual assault and their allies, facilitated by Susan Jacobson, Certified Art Therapist.

In this workshop we will use collage as a means of getting in touch with your inner wisdom. Participants will be introduced to the use of collage to form one collage card that focuses on one aspect of their inner self that helps guide their decisions and recovery.

We will spend part of the time creating a collage, then journaling and sharing with each other in small groups, and finally sharing together in the group at large.

This workshop is facilitated by Susan Jacobson, Certified Art Therapist.

Susan Jacobsen is an Art Therapist with more than 28 years of experience working with children, adults and families. Her Master’s Degree is in Art Therapy from Emporia State University. She is Registered and Board Certified through the Art Therapy Credentials Board and is a Licensed Mental Health Professional through the State of Colorado. She is a member of the American Art Therapy Association and the Art Therapy Association of Colorado. She founded Henry’s Heart Art Therapy in 2015.

There is no charge to participate, but an RSVP is required at the ticket link and we are accepting donations ($10 suggested donation).
