'Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill'

Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill shares one night at the end of Billie Holiday’s career. Exploring her turbulent life, this country’s racial strife, and the power of a singular artistic voice, this play combines Holiday’s life story with songs like “What a Little Moonlight Can Do,” “God Bless the Child,” and “Strange Fruit.” Colorado Springs actor and singer Cheerish Martin will bring Billie Holliday to glorious life for three weekends only.
