Make & Take Workshop: Rocky Mountain Watercolors with Sophia Hanna

Join local professional artist and Bemis School of Art instructor Sophia Hanna, at Goat Patch Brewery, for a Make and Take workshop! She will be guiding you through a watercolor paintings of the Rocky Mountains. At the end, you will beautifully mat and frame your piece, which will be ready to go directly on the wall when you get home!

In this two hour workshop you will fully complete a piece of art, from sketch to framing, picking up some watercolor skills along the way! You will have multiple options for reference photos of the Rocky Mountains (or bring your own!). Sophia will walk you through sketching, fully painting, customizing, and matting/framing your piece of art. You will be able to bring it home and put it directly on the wall! Or, maybe wrap it for Christmas for your favorite local.

This workshop theme is inspired by a plein air class Sophia teaches at the Bemis School of Art, and aims to make the creation of fine art accessible and fun! No experience required!
