Pikes Peak State College's Visiting Writers Series is honored to welcome spoken word artist Ashley Cornelius, the 6th Pikes Peak Region Poet Laureate.

- 5:30 p.m. - Art Gallery: Reception with treats and hot drinks. Sponsored by Student Government in the Art Gallery, which will feature the “Latinx Voices” art show.
- 6 p.m. - Black Box Theater: PPSC students, faculty, and members of the Nearby Universe Writers’ Group will read their work. (Some student reader slots will be scheduled, and some will be open for sign-up at the event.)
- 7 p.m.: Poet Laureate Ashley Cornelius will take the stage.
- 8 p.m.: Book raffle
