This graffiti art mural was painted in 2016 by Isaac “Focus” Cisneros on the interior back wall of the Superior Barber shop on East Platte.
The crown on the skull reminds us that the work you do keeps your name. We are reminded that even in death we will be remembered and that death (symbolized by the skull) is not horrible but is also beautiful (symbolized by the red roses) when people are remembered.
At the time Isaac was a barber in the shop. (Source: conversation with the artist)
