United We Stand

This patriotic message was painted on the side of Westside Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Old Colorado City. The painting was commissioned by the previous building owner who owned the building for 10 months in 2001-2002. The current business owner, who purchased the building in August 2002, liked the message and retained the mural. The patriotic message and flag were most likely a response to the terrorist attack of 9/11/2001. The original mural had a number of silver stars but those have mostly faded.
