    The Sound of Music Colorado College - Armstrong Theater The Sound of Music Presented by Opera Theatre of the Rockies at Colorado College - Armstrong Theater August 2-August 4, 2013 Enjoy a fully staged performance with orchestra of the classic musical "The Sound of Music," starring Jennifer DeDominici as Maria Von Trapp. Maria is a spirited, young woman who leaves the convent and becomes a governess to seven unruly children. With charm and songs Maria quickly wins the hearts of the children and their father; but, when Nazi, Germany unites with Austria, Maria is forced to attempt a daring escape with her new family.
