Colorado College - Armstrong Theater

Armstrong Theater is located inside Armstrong Hall, one of the biggest structures at Colorado College. It houses over 25 conference rooms, classrooms, a humanities and a multi-media lab, most of the administrative offices and the theater, a large space with 730 seats used primarily for drama productions and dance performances but also for popular music performances.

Tevye, a Jewish peasant in Tsarist Russia, attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives. He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.
      08/05/12	Japanese Taiko (Drum) Concert Colorado College - Armstrong Theater Japanese Taiko (Drum) Concert Presented by Colorado College Summer Music Festival at Colorado College - Armstrong Theater August 5, 2012 The Fujisan Kaen Taiko Drummers from Fujiyoshida and the Taiko Society of Colorado Springs join together for an exhilarating performance. The concert is one of the major events taking place in Colorado Springs during the first week of August to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Sister City Relationship between Colorado Springs and Fujiyoshida, Japan.
